On April 25th, the Environmental Design Lab attended the College of Agricultural & Life Science’s Global Day 2023. The event focused on connecting the UW-Madison community in addressing international challenges. Lab member, Dhruv Lokhande, spearheaded the event and submitted a poster for presentation about our recent study investigating how outdoor spaces on UW-Madison’s campus supports the mental wellbeing of undergraduate students with mental health diagnoses. Dhruv presented our findings and their larger global implications as creating more intentional and welcoming higher education environments would allow for more successful academic experiences and the development of future global leaders.
